My 8 year old has recently started using this phrase when referring to my childhood.
In the olden days.
As in:
“Mom, did you watch TV in black and white in the olden days?”
“Mommy, in the olden days did you have cars, or did you guys have to walk everywhere?”
“In the olden days when you were a [...]

If I could do it over again

I’ve given some really nice, brand new clothes to people I was friendly with, only to have them treat me really crappy a few weeks later.
One woman avoided me like the plague after I gave her 3 bags of hardly worn designer clothes.
