I’ve given some really nice, brand new clothes to people I was friendly with, only to have them treat me really crappy a few weeks later.
One woman avoided me like the plague after I gave her 3 bags of hardly worn designer clothes.
Another took disrespectful pictures aimed toward me in the clothes I had given to her. (Showing not one but two middle fingers.)
And another female rolls her eyes at me every single time I talk to her.
Strange, but true.
I haven’t done anything to them, didn’t treat them differently, don’t bring up the clothes, never asked them for anything in return- I just gave because it looks about their size, I have no need for it, and I don’t want to go through all the trouble of trying to sell them on ebay. Besides, if they didn’t want it, or were insulted by me giving it to them, shouldn’t they just tell me no thank you instead of taking the outfits and wearing them everywhere?
So.
If I could do it over again, I would put some bad juju into every piece of clothing so that each one of those women gain several hundred pounds, a few thousand pimples and severe halitosis. Then maybe, just maybe they would stop hating me and start focusing more on themselves.
