…your kids talk about farts and doodoos and you join in and laugh along with them.
…you’re at the supermarket by yourself and you catch yourself humming your baby’s favorite song- or worse- talking to your ‘imaginary’ kids because you forgot they were at home.
…it takes you an hour to get ready, but only because you’re busy dressing and packing snacks for your kids.
…your morning ‘alarm clock’ says “Wah, wah, wah” instead of “beep, beep, beep.”
…your birthday and Christmas wish list consists of strollers and stylish diaper bags and other things you want for your kids instead of the things you used to ask for.
…you go out of your way to insure that your children believe in magical beings like the Easter bunny, Santa Claus and the tooth fairy.
…you no longer wear light colored t-shirts because you KNOW better.
…you cringe at anyone who talks to your 7 year old like he’s a small baby.
…kids call “MOMMY” at the store and you say, “I’M RIGHT HERE.” Even if all of your kids are with you.
…you actually drive speed limit.
…you’ve read “The little Engine that could” so many times that you can recite it with your eyes closed
…your FAVORITE hair stylist in the whole world is your 4 year old daughter.
…other kids pounce on you to see what kinds of snacks YOU have in your mommy bag.
…your arms feel empty after you put the baby down to sleep.
…you yell at your kids so that they can stop yelling at each other. (Figure that one out.)
…you wish that your naughty kids would JUST GO TO SLEEP ALREADY and the minute they do youʻre suddenly stuck wondering what to do with yourself.
…you know that quiet kid laughter equates to obnoxious kid mess.
…your kisses work like magic- they can take away the pain of a thousand little booboos.
…your sonʻs drawing of you and him with a heart is far more precious than your painting on the wall is.
…you dance like your child when you’re out at the club.
…you are able to translate your toddler’s gibberish into actual words.
